Day 17- a picture of something that has made an impact on your life recently-

This verse. Ouch. Everyone is so quick to judge everyone else... myself included. I'll look at someone or something and think 'well I sure wouldn't do it that way' or 'I would NEVER do something like that'. Truth is though... I can't honestly say that until I've been in the exact place that person is. This is something I've really been trying to work on because I know how it feels to be on the receiving end of judgement and criticism.. and it's not cool. So yeah.. this verse. :)

The beach, hands down. Laying out in the sun with shades and a camera, with the waves crashing on the shore... is one of the best things ever!!

No Compromise

No compromise is what the whole Gospel of Jesus is all about... 'For I tell you... no man can serve two masters...' (Matt 6:24) In a day when believers seem to be trying to please both the world and the Lord (which is an impossible thing), when people are far more concerned about offending their friends than offending God, there is only one answer.. Deny yourself, take up your cross.. and follow Him!!!

Now 7 things about me, myself and I.

1. I love being different. Not weird different, but just not going along with what everyone else considers 'normal'. haha
2. I once went 3 months without talking to someone I used to be close to. Nothing to be proud of, but yeah..
3. I am SUPER tired right now!! Normally I sleep in on Saturdays, but this morning I was woken up by Tangled playing really loud in the room next to mine. (such is life with little siblings :)
4. I did the craziest, most abnormal thing yesterday... I bought a pink shirt. Don't know what got in to me.. lol
5. I'm wearing socks. Weird for me.. I NEVER wear socks...
6. I learn something new every day. It's awesome.
7. I hate slow internet. :/

Ok, well not that I've ever gone through that much, I mean yeah I've had my struggles and ups and downs in life, but who hasn't? But anyhow, God is the obviously the main one who's always been there for me. Even at times when I couldn't feel Him and felt completely alone... I know I never was... and never will be. And... as far as people go, my sisters and Ruth have probably gotten me through the most. They've been the best encouragers ever. ;)

My Bible. I sure don't read it and study it as much as much as I should, but it's still priceless to me. And after that I would have to say a ring I have. No, it's nothing expensive, no diamond. But it means a lot to me regardless. :)

Day 5- a picture of a good memory. (had to do more than one pic for this one.. ;)

Last year, the day after Thanksgiving. One of the best days ever. My bro and I and a couple of friends went all over the great state of.. WI. Left early in the morning, didn't get back until 1 or 2a.m. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner out. Went to about 117 different stores (not literally. lol). Got coffee. Went and watched a movie. Played in the snow at midnight. Did donuts on the ice. And a bunch of other things... It was pure awesomeness.

Last night. It was awesome. There was this gorgeous full moon out, and we all took a 2 hour walk with some friends. It was cool.. (not the best pic I know.. :)

Day 2- a picture of you and someone you're close to. Yeah, there was NO way I could just do one person. I have a lot of friends AND siblings and I'm close to all of them. Eri. Awesome girl that she is. She's quiet and doesn't say much, but I'm loud and say a lot so it works out fine. I think I've made her speechless quite a few times over the years with my say-it-how-it-is personality, but she just laughs and goes 'wow, Hannah'. lol And her sis Leah.. she's awesome too. Quiet, but has an amazing sense of humor. I didn't have a pic with her though.
My sisters. Even though they're all younger than me, I'm close to all of them.. they drive me absolutely crazy sometimes, but I know I do them too so it's fine. I love them anyway.
Es & Liz.. my Rhi-WI friends. They're some cool ladies. One can whip up the best batch of cookies in 5 minutes, and the other is a killer at ping-pong. It's actually freaky how much Es is like me.. we're so alike on some things that we can finish each others sentences. It's awesome! And Liz.. she's hopelessly stubborn and sarcastic. I think that's why I've always gotten along so well with her. :) Don't get to see them as often as I'd like since they live a gazillion miles away, but oh well.. love you people!
And Ru!!! Another awesome person. She's probably my most patient friend. We've stayed up til past 2am many nights talking.. she'll listen to me ramble on about my life, and then sweetly tell me what she thinks. Never judgmental or condemning... just understanding. I love her!

So I was at this gorgeous place... with the sun shining... and water splashing... and palm trees swaying... and music playing... and Spencer. (aka my camera) So I walked around and took pictures... and just enjoyed the day! Here's a few of my favorites...

Okaaaayyy... well there's not much more I have to say about myself than has already been said. But being one who is never at a lack for words, I'm sure I'll think of something.. here goes..

1. I really, REALLY, want to go somewhere right now. Nowhere in particular.. I just feel like packing up, hopping on a plane and flying somewhere and not coming back until I'm completely and miserably homesick.
2. Had a funny and memorable time on the river today.. I'm such a dork.
3. I name EVERYTHING. Phone, I-pod, camera.. they all have names. (the handsome guy in my header pic is Spencer)
4. I'm almost done with school. For good. (woot woot!!)
5. I talked on the phone for 4 hours one time. :P
6. I love blonde jokes
7. I love belts, hats, and sunglasses, and have quite a few of each.
8. I wear high heels because they make me taller.. lol
9. Snowmobiling is the best!!
   
10. I don't wear striped clothes. Don't ask... haha

So everywhere we go people are always telling my sisters and I how much we look alike... but I don't think we do. At all. 1: She's deathly afraid of water, which is why she never swims

2: She has an amazing voice but refuses to sing in front of anyone

3: She can make friends with anyone because she says crazy and random things to break the ice. lol

4: She used to count her jewelry in her sleep. Yeah I know, weird..

5: She almost never turns down a dare

6: She loves Chinese food

7: She wishes she was 6 feet tall

8: She thinks most girls are catty and emotional so she only wants to have sons when she's older

9: She can't stand the Gators football team

10: She loves flying

11: She wants to marry someone with blonde hair and blue eyes

13: She doesn't want to get married till she's at least 22
