to me they're worth more than a thousand words...

This ^^ pretty much completely and totally sums up why I love photography so much. =)

Wow... I feel like I haven't been on here in forever! Why? Reason #1: We live in the country. We have satellite internet. Need I continue? ;) But, it is better than nothing so, yes, grateful. (is it okay to be slightly annoyed as well...?) Anyways, reason #2: I'm lazy. Yep. Until last week, I hadn't picked up my camera in almost a month. A MONTH!!!! Yeah, I totally love taking pictures... but I just wasn't feeling it. Hopefully that's past? lol I don't know... BUT! I have been better this past week. The majority of pictures go on our family blog though. Which if you want, you can check out here. Feel free to follow or comment.  =)  Okay well moving on! I absolutely cannot believe that Christmas is NEXT Sunday. Seriously, it seems like we just had Christmas. And I know I probably say that every year... but I really mean it this time! I,e,... I still remember what I wore and the first present I opened last year. Yes, I'm serious. See, seems like yesterday. Nonetheless, I'm excited. Not in a -jump-up-and-down-and-squeal- kind of way, but in a -the-new-year-is-almost-here-and-I'm-about-to-turn-EIGHTEEN!!-and-I-feel-like-my-life-is-about-to-get-crazier-and-I-can't-wait- kind of excited. Does that make sense? Maybe I'm just sentimental or something... but it's also kinda sad. Like when i think that this is the last year I'll ever be 17, and that all these great times and epic moments of 2011 will just be distant memories... it's bittersweet. Or maybe it's the fact that it's 1a.m. and I'm really not fully awake right now? That is VERY possible. hehe.  Well, enough with that. I find myself rambling on waaaaay too much these days. ;) So ending this post with some pictures of my lovely family... =)

God bless you all... =)

  1. ..Aw :) I know how you're feelin'. (About the last year of life that will be "2011" in which you'll be 17.)

For me, I find comfort in thinking about heaven - how the people will be the same/'round the same age, everything will be perfect and the things that should REALLY matter to me will be there. :)

    God Bless You.
