It's All About Love...

And rambling.
"It's not about finding someone who won't fight with you, or make you sad, or mad. It's about finding the person who will still be standing there wiping the tears away, holding you in their arms after a fight, and the one who will never leave... no matter how hard things can get"

#truth
And just for the record... I love the girl's shoes in this picture!!! Everything about them is just... perfect.
Guess what just got added to my Christmas wish list... lol

Hope you all are having an amazing Sunday!! I am... church this morning was so good. I almost didn't go because I'm not feeling so great, but I'm glad I did.
It was definitely what I needed.
The text was John 13:34 and 35.
"A new commandment I give unto you. That ye love one another; as I have loved you, they ye also love one another. By this all men shall know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another"

Simple enough. Yet something that can be sooo hard. If we're really children of God, then we should be distinctly set apart by the love we have for others. It never hurts to be reminded of that. So often I just want to... well, not  be loving. And I can come up with one hundred and one reasons why I have every right not to treat someone with love. But none of that matters.
I'm a Christian. I love them. No matter what.
I know that's vague, but you get the idea. =)
When someone wrongs you... love them.
Because that's what we're commanded to do, and the Lord will bless us for it.

So I am off to make a chocolate shake with strawberries... one of very few things I can actually eat right now! But have a great rest of the day, peoples... =)

Teeth, Soup, and Being Lazy...

My days... have consisted of broccoli and cheese soup from Panera Bread. (best stuff ever, btw)
 Lots of Gatorade...
 Catching up on reading...
And wishing I had this window seat/bed thing to sit on and read because it's so bright and cozy looking...
 3 different antibiotics...
Sleeping.
Blogging.
And music.

Why?

I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday.
Which was definitely ouch. But they were impacted and needed done, so I'm really glad to have it over with.

And they put me to sleep for it... which was about the weirdest thing I've ever gone through... I couldn't even walk afterwards. Seriously, it was crazy. Anyways, I feel really lazy just doing nothing... but I'm actually sort of enjoying it. It's not every day you get to just lay in bed all day and literally do nothing. Not that the nausea, pain and headaches that come with it are fun... but still.

My bro snapped this picture of me as soon as I was done... and yes, I realize I look terrible here, but I really was/am feeling that pathetic.

So that's what's going on in my life at the moment...

Have a great weekend, everybody!

Saving The World... Together.

Me.... and Captain America. Would that make me Mrs Captain America? Yes. (officially unofficially of course) Because he's just THAT awesome.

This movie came out today... and I just had to get a picture with the hero. I would write a review on it, but Polka Dot did an amazing job of that here, and there's pretty much nothin' I could say about it that she didn't. So go check it out. =)

And one of my favorite quotes from the movie:

Captain A: "Why me?"
Dr. Erskine: "Because a weak man knows the value of strength. Knows the value of power. Whatever happens... stay who you are. Not just a soldier, but a good man."

Yes, he is a good man. Strong yet gentle, confidant yet vulnerable, independent yet not afraid to ask for help, and a gentleman.

I really did love this movie. And may, just may... be in love with Captain America. lol

Have a great week!

Jesus Loves You

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" -John 3:16

If that's not love... then I don't know what is.

Hope you all have an amazing Sunday... =)

It's the most wonderful time of the year...

Which, to me, isn't Christmas... but now. Fall. =)

 There's just something about it...
The colorful leaves... (okay, honestly, I live in FL, where leaves don't change colors... but I love the places where they do!!)

Snuggling up in a hoodie that's way too big for you, with a hot cup of coffee/hot chocolate and your favorite movie or book...
But replace this ^^ with the one below. :P

And going to pumpkin patches and corn mazes and fall festivals... which to some may be lame, but to me it's just kind of a given for the season. =)
And one day... I'd like to have a cute little girl with blonde hair and blue eyes... and dress her. cute. like. this.
And this bench kinda looks like the perfect place to just chill and enjoy life... aka people watch? Yeah... idk. But either way, as long as you're with the right person, it would be all good. Right?

And this picture... just because it's adorable and I love it. <3

What do I do...

...when life gets boring? Enter photo challenges of course. Okay, that's not all I do. But for the moment it is. :P It's kinda lame to have to do a post every time you enter one, but that's just the way it goes. Anyways, over at A Ray Of Sunshine, this weeks theme is 'music'. I only had one picture that even fits that theme... so here it is. And no, that is not. my. hand. It's my bro. lol

Happiness... =)

So I just entered this 'photo challenge'... and the theme was 'happiness'. Weeeellll looking through all my pictures... this is the one that made me the happiest. The bright colors, the priceless expressions on their faces, the care free days of being a kid... when a popsicle made life pretty near perfect. I love it. =)

The Way It Should Be

I don't even think an explanation is needed for this. =)

Yes.

Yes.

And yes.

Not that I'm Einstein or anything...

Buuuuuut I do know enough to easily figure out that I'll be 20 and 2 months when these things come off.
Kinda hard to imagine right now, but that's life! Even if it is sorta painful at the moment. ;) Everyone has been telling me that I "really do look my age now". Which is fine by me. I mean, I thought I did before... but uh, yeah. lol

Anyways, that's the newest thing goin' on in my world. Life is good, God is great!!

One of those days...

... where I genuinely wish I had a pair of rain boots. Because they're cute... and I'd go out in the rain and jump in mud puddles like an 10 year old. With a stupid grin on my face.
(a latte would also be great right now...)

Sorry for such a short post... a real one is coming soon. Buuuut it's a dreary kinda day here in sunny Florida and this is pretty much what I was thinking about... deep huh? ;)

It's Officially Fall =)

Friday & Saturday my family and some friends all went to a big fall festival.
I wasn't sure if it would be any fun, but I was game anyway... but we ended up having a great time!!! There was this huge corn maze, and the first time we went through it, it was in the dark. Fun? Um, yes!! Before you go in they give you a riddle to solve: it's a sweet sound to the lost who need to be found. So throughout the maze there are 12 stations, each one with a lettered stamp that you put on your paper, then at the end you unscramble the letters to solve the riddle. We pretty much guessed the answer right off... Amazing Grace. =) Which I thought was just cool! We got to talking to these people and turns out... this whole thing is on part of their 400 acres, and 3 generations live on it. The whole family... the grandparents, their children, and then all the grandchildren. And they were Christians. Anyhow, yeah it was cool. Haha, moving on...
My siblings & I... all but one.
Group shot.. with a few missing.
Mr Jon... looking adorable as ever!
So this ride? I went on it 3 times. And dragged all the other older kids on it with me! It was fun. =)
Us girls.My 3 sisters.

Nathanael on the tire swing... which I epically failed at trying to swing on.
This old truck was just dying to have it's picture taken... with us. lol

Dad & Mom

Aaaand me. =) Yep, I think we kicked October off pretty decently! What do you think?
