And rambling.
"It's not about finding someone who won't fight with you, or make you sad, or mad. It's about finding the person who will still be standing there wiping the tears away, holding you in their arms after a fight, and the one who will never leave... no matter how hard things can get"

And just for the record... I love the girl's shoes in this picture!!! Everything about them is just... perfect.
Guess what just got added to my Christmas wish list... lol
Hope you all are having an amazing Sunday!! I am... church this morning was so good. I almost didn't go because I'm not feeling so great, but I'm glad I did.
It was definitely what I needed.
The text was John 13:34 and 35.
"A new commandment I give unto you. That ye love one another; as I have loved you, they ye also love one another. By this all men shall know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another"
Simple enough. Yet something that can be sooo hard. If we're really children of God, then we should be distinctly set apart by the love we have for others. It never hurts to be reminded of that. So often I just want to... well, not be loving. And I can come up with one hundred and one reasons why I have every right not to treat someone with love. But none of that matters.
I'm a Christian. I love them. No matter what.
I know that's vague, but you get the idea. =)
When someone wrongs you... love them.
Because that's what we're commanded to do, and the Lord will bless us for it.
So I am off to make a chocolate shake with strawberries... one of very few things I can actually eat right now! But have a great rest of the day, peoples... =)

I love the picture; so sweet!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it so wonderful when God gives you words you need to hear?
We can love others - because God loved us. God forgive us - we should forgive others. :-)
ReplyDeleteHey Hannah!

ReplyDeleteJoel: Exactly... =)
Rebekah: Thanks for following!! I'm already a follower of your blog. =)
My pastor has been preaching on John 13 for the past few weeks! Funny that they should both be preaching on the same topic :)
