Dear Girls,

If any of you happened to be in Ireland today... well, as tradition goes, you could have proposed to the guy of your choosing. Personally, I don't recommend it, I'm just sayin. Okay for real, I wonder if people really do that... anyhow!

Now guys, as legit and romantic it would be if you propose to a girl on leap day one year, girls love order... and it would completely bug them not to have a real anniversary every year. So yeah, just something clicheable like June 30th or December 3rd is cool. 

And... 

 ... this ^^ is just awesome. Very clever and sweet. (: 

Okay, well there's my relationship advice for the day... ;)

For some strange reason....

I've always thought it very cool when two people share a birthday. I happen to have 2 friends with whom I share a birthday... or do they share with me...? Either way, it's legit. So today is my little sis Elisabeth's birthday. She's 11!! And her little friend Katherine, is 10 today. She's basically just another sister to me. I love them both. Anyways, yeah, it's over cast outside and has been raining off and on all day... but I dragged them outside for some pictures just the same. Not that they really minded. They were ideal little models for me. And so pretty too, right?! Okay, enough rambling.... happy birthday, Beth & Kat!! Hope it's as amazing as you two are... love you! 

Singles Awareness Day?

Okay, probably not what you were expecting for a Valentines day post... but I was reading that the other night, and with Valentines day right around the corner, it got me thinking. I know a lot of people who are lonely and depressed on this day because they don't have that special person in their life yet, and some who even call today Singles Awareness Day (to each his own... I guess.) And no, you can't blame them. But these verses are just... true. There is a time and season for everything in life. One day we'll probably all be married and raising families of our own, and then this will really hit home for us. Honestly, I'm content with where God has me right now. There are things I'd like to do, and others that I'm pursuing... but as far as a guy goes, it's not time for that yet. And I'm okay with that. Sure it would have been nice to get a dozen roses today with a card saying 'I love you' and a box of chocolates (what girl wouldn't want that?), but I didn't. And I don't need that. I have a family, and most importantly a God, that loves me unconditionally, and for now, that's more than enough. I have all I need for this season that I'm in. Not much, just my random thoughts for the day... =)

So to all my friends, single or married... happy Valentines day!! Hope it was amazing and blessed.

8 is a pretty cool number...

... when you're 8. Yesterday our Nathanael happened to be turning this very cool number. Since the very first day of this month he's insisted that we all call him 'birthday guy'. Yes, I'm serious. He wouldn't even answer to his name. You'd never guess he was excited, huh? ;) It was so cute though! He is, by FAR, the most energetic, loudest, exhuberant child I've ever met. He has this crazy zeal and passion about everything in life. Which really, I wish we could all be a little more like that. The-glass-is-always-half-full-and-the-sun-is-shining-so-let's-fly-a-kite-and-sing. Carefree, happy. He definitely keeps everyone on their toes, but I'm pretty sure our house would be a little too quiet without him. Happy birthday, Nathan!!

It's Saturday...

... and I just got home from lunch with my family, where I had a HUGE mug of hot french vanilla coffee, then our waiter brought me an iced french vanilla coffee after I finished that one. Oh. My. Word. Never had that much coffee in one day... it was ridiculous. I'm waiting for all that caffeine to kick in. It's gonna be scary. (be glad you're not here) >.< Anyways, that was completely irrevelant and NOT the point of this post... the point was, I'm sitting here watching a cheesy Valentines movie on Hallmark and Pinteresting- of course. And these things... just make me smile because they're so lame. =) But I kinda find lame stuff really funny. Like for real, I don't even laugh at intelligent jokes. Kiiiiiinda strange.... lol

 I won't lie, this one ^^ is my favorite. Sooo true. 

 It's scary, I actually have friends that would so do this. lol

So this guy Jordan, every Monday, does a new video on Youtube about random stuff. All of his videos are hilarious, but this is one of my favorites. If you ever wondered if Hannah has a lame and dorky sense of humor... I can assure you, the answer is definitely YES. I do! Haha... anyways, enjoy! =)
