the greatest of these is love-

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, it profits me nothing.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there aretongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13

Man, I could say so much about this chapter. But really, the chapter says more than enough itself. And we all know the original is always better. So yeah, really... just think about it. On second thought, no, don't just think about it.
Hide it in your heart.
Learn it.
Apply it.
Live it.

Don't get me wrong, this is just as much of a personal challenge for myself as it is for you guys. :)

Wednesday Words-

the one with pictures-

Gonna put the the world away for a minute

Pretend I don't live in it

Sunshine gonna wash my blues away

Wishing I was knee deep in the water somewhere
Got the blue sky breeze and it don't seem fair

Only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair

Sunrise there's a fire in the sky
Never been so happy
Never felt so high

And I think I might have found me my own kind of paradise

Wrote a note said be back in a minute
Bought a boat and I sailed off in it

Don't think anybody gonna miss me anyway

Mind on a permanent vacation
The ocean is my only medication
Wishing my condition ain't ever gonna go away

Cause now im knee deep in the water somewhere

Got the blue sky breeze blowing wind through my hair

Only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair

Sunrise there's a fire in the sky

Never been so happy

Never felt so high
And I think I might have found me my own kind of paradise

This champagne shore washing over me

It's a sweet sweet life living by the salty sea

One day you could be as lost as me

Change you're geography

Maybe you might be

Knee deep in the water somewhere

Got the blue sky breeze blowing wind through my hair

Only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair

Sunrise there's a fire in the sky

Never been so happy

Never felt so high
And I think I might have found me my own kind of paradise

Come on in the water it's nice

Find yourself a little slice

Grab a backpack
You never know until you try
When you lose yourself
You find the key to paradise

-Knee Deep, Zac Brown Band

Yeah, go figure... the song is too short. (but it's such a perfect beach song...) or I have too many pictures. hmm... which one is it?

Anyways, it seems like I never do any pictures on here... so this is me totally catching up. In fact... this may even be me breaking a record. Pretty cool stuff...

But hey, I've been told that less is more... (more or less)
Does that go for pictures too?
Sure, why not.

This is our adorable Jon trying to 'hear the ocean' through the tiniest sea shell...

A hand full of shells. How incredible is that?

^^ just cute.

Jon totally wasn't too keen on the pink flippers. Can you tell?

Soooo... I was just sitting there holding his glasses. and a camera. with my 3 coats of sparkly nail polish from camp. end of story.

He wanted to go in.. but didn't want to get wet. It didn't work out for him so well, so he just stood on the shore telling the others not to go out too far. :) lol

A cute boy & a sea shell! #winwin

We played tennis! I even played tennis.
Very extremely badly... in case you were wondering.

See all the action going on?

*shade. yes.

Look at all these cute people. aww.

Yeah, he finally did get wet... halfway. After lots of coaxing...

Cutest little diver ever.

Yeeees! We went on a bike ride... like 4 miles ish. or more. Which is definitely the longest I have EVER ridden a bike.

In fact... I hadn't even been on one in like 2 years. I don't think any of us had.

But it was cool.

This was a total attempt and fail at candid... >.< not really.

I love how bad he's squinting here. Seriously made the pic!

Dad & Mom...

totally enthused right there ^ ;)

Oh yes we did...

Absolutely, without a doubt, one of the coolest things we have ever done.

No, like for real. They were awesome!

If I owned a lake, or better yet, an OCEAN!... I would totally get one. Or I might get one anyway just to look at it because they're cool... would that be weird?

Reflections on the beach, to me... are just kind of intriguing.

I have just realized... that I use that word waaaay too often. But that's okay. I couldn't think of anything better.

This fishing pole also... well, intrigued me. Or at the very least it just looked pretty cool sitting there in the sand all by itself.

Eh?

And there are 3 days worth of pictures... and a bird. and the fishing pole. :)
