yeah... just stuff.

My dad's birthday was yesterday, and for it, we took a trip to St. Simone's & Jekyll Island for the weekend. I'd never been here before, but it's actually a really cool place. A looooot of historical stuff. Which honestly, isn't really my thing, but I'm with my family, so it's been fun. :) And I realize some of these pics are kinda washed out looking... yeeeah, had my camera on the wrong setting. >.<

Okay, funny story. This house ^^ is about 100 years old, and you see this little stream thing RIGHT in front of the door? Well apparently the mistress of this place was always getting mad when her husband would come in and track in mud on his boots, so she had this built and would make him walk through the whole thing on his way to the door so his feet were clean before he came in. A little extreme, but funny.
